There are times when it’s hard to move on. You may be the strongest Christian with faith that others admire. Perhaps you’re the person they trust, or follow, or love. But in the midst of it, a mountain looms before you that you know you can’t climb. You want to, but you can’t. Exhaustion and trials push you to the point where you have nothing left to give. When your defenses are down and the façade crumbles, His presence sustains you. The sweetest victory isn’t met with cheers and celebration. It’s knowing in your heart you did the right thing, you helped the right person, you made the proper sacrifice.
